Kids Running

Providing youth in foster care an identity to promote confidence, dignity, and a positive self-worth.

On average, kids in foster care live in 4 different homes in their first year. If a child grows up in foster care, on average they live in 15 different homes. About 50% of kids in foster care get reunified with their parents. The other 50% either age out of the system or are adopted.

Too often, youth in foster care do not have much to celebrate - their yearbook is something they can call “theirs” and it represents who they are at that given moment in time.
